Evergreen Education and Therapy

Therapeutic Education Placements:

These are short term placements for up to 1 year.  Our aim is to help children gain the skills they need to be able to reintegrate back into their school full time or to transition to a new permanent placement.

It is our ambition to become an independent School with DfE and Ofsted registration in the short term. We are currently searching for an appropriate building. As an alternative provision we have chosen to work in the beautiful, modern and quiet space of the Arthur Morison Memorial Hall in the village of Cucklington which is situated between Wincanton in Somerset and Gillingham in Dorset. Therapeutic Education Placements take place here - unless other arrangements have been made. This means that we will only ever have 4 children on the site at any one time. This is a Government rule ; they also stipulate that we can only offer up to 15 hours of education per week and each child has to remain on a school roll.

Dear Head Teachers, Pastoral Leads and SENCos-

We want to work closely with you - with the child's needs firmly at the heart of our planning.  Please contact us directly and we will send you a referral form and  then a proposal for of the intervention which will be fully costed. You may need to liaise with the local authority SEND workers to arrange funding.
