What our learners, clients and their parents and carers have said........
Miss Moran didn’t just teach and support me with Science and Maths, she showed me how to believe in myself. Since then, with the learning strategies that she helped me develop, I have had the confidence to get through my GCSEs and I am now in 6th Form studying an A level and two BTECs.
Pupil with SpLD
I have so much to thank Miss Moran for. I had a very unsettled childhood which affected my mental health, I fully admit to being awkward and uncooperative most of the time, until the patience and honesty of Miss Moran supported me to make positive decisions. I am now fully employed, having completed my level 2 apprenticeship in being a Healthcare Assistant.
Former pupil (SEMH/EBD)
I am currently completing my vocational course which will allow me to gain employment in the conservation sector. Previously I had been pushed into an academic route but Miss Moran supported both myself and my parents to find a more suitable placement which would reduce my anxieties and give me a focus on the subjects that I wanted to study.

July 2025 - Parents' Comments: We have found Evergreen to be life changing for my son and our family as a whole. From what was a very hard journey was changed dramatically in having Evergreen as an AP. We strongly feel this is the best AP provider in the area and have been very lucky to experience it.
Evergreen is a one stop shop in terms of the support it can offer, to a sports coach, primary teacher, therapy provider, art therapist, PLAY specialist, early years assistant and more, this provider has it all.
Our son went from daily meltdowns in leaving the house to running toward the door with a great big smile on his face when it was an Evergreen day. He has wanted to come here and has been so very happy in doing each and every time.
This provider has helped my son emotionally, socially and educationally and as a result we at home have seen a dramatic improvement in his behaviour. He has developed strengths in communication and general cognitive abilities which has all been thanks to Evergreen.
It is so nice to hear positive feedback about my son’s day and know he is being cared for and supported so very well. He has been included, accepted, liked and understood.
This provider clearly understands high needs complex children and uses their collective expertise as a team to get things right for your child as an individual who has different needs to that of a neurotypical or mainstream child.
The staff themselves have been the best bit, they are like a family and we have always found them kind, professional, knowledgeable, understanding and fun. They all come up with creative and clever ways to meet my son’s needs each day he goes.
We wish he could stay at Evergreen and did not have to leave for school. We are sad our son could not have had a place like this for life but so happy we found it as Evergreen provided such a needed and fantastic stepping stone for the next chapter of our son's life.
Thank you to Kirsty and Rebecca and the rest of the team for creating such a wonderful thing. You have certainly made a positive difference to our lives. You were very much there when we needed you.
Rebecca first started to teach my son as his tutor and main education in January 2019. This continued over the next two and half years.
My son has ASC and ADHD, he was unable to function with the demands in mainstream school. However, with Rebecca’s support he passed his Maths and English GCSEs, scoring above average. Alongside academic skills taught, he participated in baking and beautiful art work.
Academic work was broken up with many games, including chess which could challenge the mind. This was extremely practical and beneficial to his wellbeing. Therapeutic approaches that were taken alongside his studies benefited him hugely. At times he could be a challenge to teach, but through Rebecca’s patient, yet firm continuous kindness he thrived. Rebecca always had the students' best interest at heart. She is resilient to any student objections, and her lessons were thoroughly prepared and taught in an engaging manner.
Rebecca also supported my son with much needed social skills. She arranged for him to meet another student. They became good friends and this lead him to take this friend to Paris recently.
Rebecca’s teaching skills take an holistic approach. He is now eighteen and studying Level 4 engineering and secured an apprenticeship. He recently received his first assessment, in which he attained a distinction.
I would recommend Rebecca with no hesitation. She is professional and knows her students well. Words from my son: 'Rebecca takes a very calm and thoughtful approach to teaching. She always has the best interest of the student and helps students to learn in a way that fits their needs.’
I first started seeing Rebecca in primary school, as I was having a lot of difficulties and was being suspended a lot. She was incredibly helpful and I got to spend a lot of time expressing my emotions in artistic ways, which was cathartic and also quite fun. It helped me express frustrations about my situation that I couldn't put into words.
I dropped out of primary school in Year 5 and stopped seeing Rebecca around then too, and then started seeing her again from Year 9 to Year 12. I was not in school at the time, and was struggling with my mental health whilst also having to deal with GCSEs. She helped me overcome my depression, improve my social skills, deal with my insecurities and helped me with my education.
We also played fun games like chess and Uno in between the more serious parts of our sessions. On some days we went on trips. Rebecca took me to many places, such as the SS Great Britain in Bristol and an archaeology trip to a beach. These trips were a welcome break from all the difficulties in my life, I learned a lot and always looked forward to them.
I then did well in my GCSEs and was able to secure a place at a sixth form. Sixth form was my first time in full-time education since primary school and the transition was difficult, but thanks to Rebecca's help I was able to manage. I'm now thriving at that school and have an offer from the University of Cambridge.
Without Rebecca I would not have been able to do any of this, and I'm incredibly grateful for all the help she's given me.
NEWS UPDATE August 2025- 4 A* at A'Level and secured place at Cambridge University!
