Safeguarding
We take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously. We ensure that children are safe when they have an education placement or therapy with a member of the Evergreen team.
Kirsty is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Rebecca is the Deputy (DDSL)
Both Kirsty and Rebecca are trained to Level 3 (DSL) and have experience working and supporting children and families with safeguarding concerns.
All staff who work at Evergreen have formal Safeguarding Training to at least Level 2. Safeguarding Law is a regular item of discussion in staff meetings. All staff have a DBS; teachers are all checked against the barred teacher list and all staff have had 2 references submitted and verified prior to working with us. Therapists have had their registration checked with the relevant professional body (HCPC, BACP)
