Evergreen Education and Therapy Ltd supports children who are struggling in formal education settings by offering Alternative Education Provision for children in year R to year 11 (aged 4 to 16 inclusive). And therapy for children from 4-19 years old.

The purpose is to help children to build skills to re-engage with their school or so they are ready to move to another setting. Helping them with anxiety, social communication, low self-esteem and lack of confidence by building resilience and self-regulation skills.

We use the ‘Windows on the World’ Model of re-engagement in Education. This engages children primarily by working with their interests and meeting them where they are emotionally, academically . We utilise fun games, creative projects and sensory activities to move engagement to collaborative working then onto adult led work and finally for the children to be independent learners and over time linking to school curriculum work. We work one to one or in small groups of no more than 4 children. Children have to remain on a school roll or EOTAS Package can attend for up to 15 hours a week – 3 days.

Programmes of work are bespoke and based on needs identified in assessments. Schools and parents/carers are updated weekly on attendance and half termly on engagement and progress.
